Each driving Instructor will earn a slightly different amount from week to week. There are a number of factors to be taken into consideration when calculating exactly how much income you will receive from being a driving instructor.

Geographical Location
Earnings will vary depending on the area that you live in, or the area that you wish to work.

Lesson Duration
Lesson duration will also vary, they can be 45,50,55 or 60 minutes long. You can charge higher rates for longer lessons.

Lesson Format
Lessons can be offered One to One, Two to One, and even Three to One. Each have their own advantages and disadvantages.

Cost of lessons
If you charge approximately £20.00 per lesson  :  35 Lessons per week = £700.00 - less running costs.

• Servicing
• Fuel
• Licence Fees

Franchises
You may decide to eliminate some of the cost by choosing a franchise. The are a variety of driving school franchise options at your disposal. Your final choice will reflect your individual preferences.
